Highlights Percutaneous Coronary intervention. PCI is a non-surgical procedure that uses a catheter to place a small structure called a stent to open up blood vessels in the heart to improve blood flow.

Highlights St. Francis Hospital the Heart Center is the flagship hospital of Catholic Health Services of Long Island as being the only specialty designated heart center in New York State. St. Francis has been nationally recognizes for cardiology and heart surgery 12 times by U.S. News and World Report – more than any hospital on Long Island.

Highlights the OLC that offers comprehensive services and programs geared to both adult and geriatric patients. The 450 bed post –acute and long term nursing and rehabilitative care center provides compassionate care for patients and resides who are in need. Patients are treated by an interdisciplinary team of community nurse mangers, nurses, physical, occupational and respiratory therapists, dieticians, social worker and support staff.
